Goodmorning from South Africa!
Oh, man was it an early morning for us! 5am, we were up and we left Vanessa's house by 5:30am! We drove from Benoni to Crystal Springs Mountain Resort in Pilgrims Rest! It took us about 5 hours to get here, but that included us stopping multiple times to take pictures and also having to slow down to dodge all the potholes! We had a very nice drive other than that ;)

Once we got to the resort, we checked in and we met up with Ouma & Oupa at the lodge! We saw some warthogs from our balcony, so we were out taking pictures of them! Then while I took a quick shower, Ouma made us some lunch! We had ham sandwich and chips! Very relaxing once we finally got settled in! After we relaxed for just a short time, we jumped in Oupa’s car and headed to see some waterfalls!

We started at Lisbon Falls then we went on to the others, Berlin Falls, God’s Window and then The Pinnacle! We had a great time checking out all the different places and they were all absolutely beautiful! It was a wonderful sunny day and along our drive we also stopped at some lookout points! We had some great tour guides for the day- thanks Ouma & Oupa!

When we got back from our wonderful little trip, we headed straight up to the pool to cool off and then back to our lodge for a great braai! Right after the sun went down and right before we were going to eat dinner we saw some Zebra not far from our lodge… so we jumped in the car and went to go see them!! There were about 8 of them, and I was in shock, awesome experience! For dinner we had pork chops, boerewors, mashed potatoes, corn and pap! After dinner we looked at the many photos we took from the day! Then we headed to bed so we could be up early to go check out the animals just after sunrise!

Oh my goodness! God's window is right on, not many people get to see something so amazing like that. Absolutely beautiful!!
