South Africa, Day 3- Feb. 12th...

Hello from the very warm South Africa!

Another beautiful day here... this time Zayne was the one to sleep in! We had a quick breakfast at Ouma & Oupa's then headed out to Boksburg. Boksburg North is where Zayne grew up, he first showed me his house on Agstestr (8th) Street. He also showed me his school in that area, the swimming pool they use to go to every morning for training. I also got to see where Candice did ballet for a little bit, and then the bar that he worked at right before they came to the US. We had lunch there, and it was very good food! It was nice that the boss was there and Zayne got to see him again, also some of the workers were there and were so happy to see him back!

After our fantastic lunch, we headed back to Benoni and we stopped by Shanan Christian School where Zayne went to primary school. It was very nice to see where he grew up and we also got to see the principal of the school! This is the school that Zayne's mom taught at for many years, he said that some things have changed for the better but it was mostly still the same as he remembered!

With the weather being so nice here we had to go to Vanessa's to go swimming in the pool, with the boys! I love to see the reaction the boys have every single time they see us, very cute! They had a great time in the pool playing with Zayne. After relaxing outside for a bit, Vanessa showed me a few old photos of her kids and the Van Heerden kids as well.
