South Africa, Day 4- Feb. 13th...

Hello!

Today, we actually woke up nice and early... then met up with one of Zayne's friends- Angie for breakfast at Mugg & Bean! It was nice to sit and talk with her about old times and new!

Breakfast with Angie

After our breakfast we went off to Vanessa's house, we then left with Vanessa & Toby to go to Sandton City! We took the Gautrain from Kempton Park to Sandton and it only took us 17 mins at 116km/hr! The Gautrain is a newer- very nice train... they did not have this when Zayne was still here! When we got to Sandton City we got to see the Mandela Statue, then we walked through the mall and did a little bit of shopping! It was nice to spend some quality time with Aunt Vanessa & Uncle Toby. While we were there we also had some lunch at The Butcher Shop & Grill. The food was very nice, Zayne had lamb chops and I had a steak. Then we took the Gautrain back to Kempton Park!

When we got back- we went to Vanessa's house and got to spend some time by the pool, enjoying the sunshine! Zayne played with the boys in the pool and watched a little bit of cricket, while I stayed out in the sun! I have to enjoy it while I can, right?! Since they were watching cricket on the TV and it wasn't going so great they decided to go outside and play a little themselves! While Vanessa was preparing dinner (we were doing a braai)- we went to go pick Sammy up from school, but Bradley had to come with us to make sure we knew how to get there! When we arrived back home, they were finishing up dinner and we got to sit outside in the beautiful weather and eat! We had lemon & herb chicken, chicken kabobs, chicken sausage, boerewors with some salad and potato bake! Very nice dinner with the whole family and some of their friends!

While Zayne was playing with the boys again (soccer, and pool) I got to listen to some of Samantha's singing! It was a very nice treat to be able to listen to her music, she is a very talented young lady! Oh, and also got to enjoy some more old photos!

When we left Vanessa's we got to meet a couple that were good friends of Ouma & Oupa! Then we got to skype with Zayne's dad and Britni's mom and now we are off to bed! Another long day tomorrow! We are enjoying our trip very much and are missing everyone from back home! Shout out to Britni's work girls- Holly, Sarah, Kendra & Joanne!... I know you will miss me this weekend but I'll be thinking of you guys! Just imagine I'm there and it will be great! <3 Miss you!

Okay- well good night from South Africa!
xoxo... Britni & Zayne
