So now I am writing you from South Africa! But first, I'll tell you about our last day in Germany! So Zayne woke up early, as always and I had to catch up on my sleep... so I slept till noon, BUT... I only went to bed at 3am the night before so it was okay to sleep in! Then we had lunch with Sandra and Kerim, we had duck, potato and red cabbage! This is a special meal in Germany, and since we were special guests, we got a treat! We then packed everything up and were ready to head to the airport. Ramon came over to say bye to us! Once we packed up the car, we headed out with Sandra and Kerim to the airport.

At the airport, we checked our bags and then got a coffee with Sandra and Kerim! After that we made our way to security and off to our flight! We had a quick trip to Frankfurt and didn't stay long at that airport and off to Johannesburg we went! We had a great flight, we were in the back of our section so we had a nice room to get comfortable! Oh, and the food was SO much better on this flight!! When we were landing in Johannesburg they announced that our pilot was retiring and that this was his very last flight so when we hit ground there were fire trucks there and they sprayed the plane, which is like a send off to the pilot, kind of an awesome experience!

The trip in the airport was pretty easy, of course my line was so long for customs and Zayne of course only had 2 people in his line since he has his South African passport, so he went to get our bags while I waited for like 20 mins in my line! Then we walked out and Ouma, Oupa & Aunt Vanessa were out there waiting for us! It was just an awesome expiernce to walk out and see them waiting for us! From there, we went and got our car and off to Ouma & Oupas house!

We dropped off our bags there and Zayne took a quick shower and then we went to surprise Vanessa's kids at their schools! We first went to where Bradley was running track and at the end of his race Zayne shouted to him- "good job Brad!" and he turns to look and then has to look again and gets such a big smile! It has been over 4 years since they have seen him! Then off to David's school we went... and his reaction was just great! We walked up and Vanessa said Hi to David and he looks for a minute and then says "Is that Zayne?!?" Then runs toward him and jumps up to give him a huge hug! Then he showed us around his school!

Once we got to Vanessa's house we got to sit and talk to David and he showed us around the house and then we took him to drama club and to see Samantha after her school! She was happy to see him too, of course! After we got back home we gave them all their gifts from America and they loved all of it!! We stayed to visit with them for alittle while then made out way back to Ouma & Oupas house for dinner, where we had chicken lasagna and some side dishes that were very very good! We unpacked our bags after dinner and got our phones converted to South African network and now we're off to bed!
