South Africa, Day 5- Feb. 14th...

Happy Valentines Day!

We got up nice and early, since we had a little of things to do! We had breakfast at Ouma & Oupa's then headed to The East Rand Mall where Zayne went to the doctor to get malaria tablets and Britni went and got a manicure! After we spent some time at the mall, we went across the street to the flea market, again! We got a lot of great things to bring home, at a fantastic price! We spent kind of a lot of time there at the flea market because we were trying to decide what to get and what not to get. When we finally left with multiple bags, we met up with Ouma & Oupa at Steers for lunch! While we were waiting for them to arrive, we stopped by The Butcher's Deli and got some biltong! Steers was a great place to eat- Zayne had a bacon burger & chips and I had a chicken burger & chips!

After our fabulous lunch with Ouma & Oupa, we took a drive to the candy factory Zayne use to work at, Trig! When we got there everyone was so excited to see him! Most of them recognized him right away, and were so happy to have him back in the store! After visiting with some of his former co-workers, we went around and got a basket full of candy to bring home with us!

On our way back to Ouma & Oupa's house, Zayne showed me their old church. They were part of the founding members of this church, so it was nice to go and see it again! When we got back to the house we rested for a little bit then got ready to go out for dinner and a show! We went to The Barnyard Theatre and watched We Are The Champions, which was a live tribute show to people like Elton John, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Freddy Mercury & Pink! We had a great night listening to some great singing and we both really enjoyed the wonderful pizza! Oh, and it was cute... right at the beginning of the show there was an older gentleman who proposed to his girlfriend, on stage in front of the whole crowd!

After the show, we ran back to the house, grabbed our things and then stayed at Aunt Vanessa's house for the evening!

We hope you all had a great Valentine's Day...
